KBOR Presents: Festival Of Bad Dreams

We are excited to announce the first ever Festival Of Bad Dreams!

This special night is happening on the final Friday of the year (Dec. 28th), and will be an annual event. We’re starting out small and intimate, with room to grow as the clock spins forward, and we will have an eclectic mix of DIY music (as we always strive for with KBOR shows), featuring Sad Dance Party from Phoenix, Stay Wild, Monty O’Blivion, and Plasmic! It will take place at Lot 1 in the heart of Echo Park. This is a free show, no one turned away for lack of funds, but of course, if you are able, please support the bands and the space. Buy some merch, have a drink, tip the bartender, donate to the touring band, and just do what you can. We’re all in this together!

This will be a night to dance and unite in the spirit of change, as we bid a not-so-fond farewell to a year of grave social injustice. While we recognize our righteous anger, it is also necessary to rejoice and summon up all the hope we can, and have fun in spite of constant bad news, hate and violence, without faltering in our recognition of the change that must occur. That’s the spirit of the Festival of Bad Dreams. If you’re feeling it, join us. No racists, no bigots, no transphobes, no misogynists, you get the idea. Take care of each other and make everyone feel safe.

If you’re still on FB, you can find the event page here. We do most of our social media interaction on Instagram, so follow us! We’ll be scattering flyers and posters, but if you’re in the LA area and want to help us pass some out, drop us a line and we’ll get you some!

Can’t wait for this, mates. I hope you’ll join us! Thanks for supporting KBOR Records and DIY music in general!
